Firebolt
This is the broomstick that Harry got from his godfather, Sirius Black, in the third book, Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. It is also the broom that he used in the first task in the Triwizard Tournament in the fourth book,Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire. It is made of ash wood treated with a diamond hard polish, with a tail of birch twigs. It is capable of going from nought to one hundred and fifty miles per hour in ten seconds. The Firebolt also boasts an unbreakable Braking Charm, superb balance and precision, and hovers at reasonable mounting height when let go. By 1994, the Firebolt was the fastest broomstick in the whole world.
Nimbus 2000
This was Harry's first broom that he got in the first book, Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone. But later got broken ,when Harry fell off of it and it flew away, by The Womping Willow when Dementors came onto the the Quidditch field while Harry was playing. The Nimbus 2000 was produced by the Nimbus Racing Broom Company as a part of their successful line of racing brooms. Released in 1991 it was, at the time, the fastest broomstick in production. The Nimbus 2000 easily out performed its competitors on the Quidditch pitch until it was replaced as the top broomstick by the Nimbus 2001. The handle of the broom is made of mahogany.

This is the broom that Lucius Malfoy bought for the whole Slytherin Quidditch team so that his son,Draco Malfoy, could become the seeker of the team. In other words he bribed them into
letting his son become part of the team.The Nimbus 2001 was produced by the Nimbus Racing Broom Company as a part of their successful line of racing brooms.Released in August, 1992, it was faster than its predecessor, The Nimbus 2000. It officially became the fastest broom in existence, until the launch of the Firebolt in 1993. The broom itself is black and gold (or silver), with revolving stirrups. Despite the Firebolt being faster, the Nimbus 2001 is still used by the majority of Quidditch teams across the globe.
